The Back on the Board Foundation was founded in 2007 as a non-profit cancer organization in Newport Beach, California. Looking to show compassion for their nephew and brother that was stricken with Testicular Cancer, Judy Sweetland and Staci Popp created a buzz that involved the support of a community to help Adam Popp get back on his surfboard. Word of the Back on the Board Foundation spread fast and soon the idea to create a fully functioning non-profit organization was born. Today the Back on the Board Foundation utilizes its resources to create testicular cancer awareness and to contribute financial aid to those battling the illness.
